African Bazaar began as a pop up shop to find a way to pay for tuition obligation for a student I sponsored when i lost my corporate job.... to get cash flow I asked the student to find something from the local African handmade market that I could resell at a profit.... he gave me 50 pairs of Ankara handmade shoes which I later found out he made from pieces of material he picked up from the trash. With the shoe sales I was able to finance 1 year of college tuition. Now I have about 8 people that supply me different items some are mothers, some students, some just entrepreneurs .... my only request make it cool and make it unique....
